Terrenz started her human movement and wellness journey straight out of school as she always had a keen interest in health and wellbeing. She studied a Bachelor of Health and Exercise Science, graduating with an honours, from the University of New South Wales.
She’s had experience in the corporate sector as a Workers Compensation Case Manager and has also dabbled in fashion before eventually returning to the field of human movement full time. While sat at the desk in her previous life, she always knew that movement and exercise were the key to good health and an optimal functioning body.
Sick of experiencing back, neck and hip pain herself from being sat at the desk for more than 40 hours each week while in her 20s, she discovered Pilates in helping her manage her aches and pains. Falling in love with the discipline, she went on to undertake her first certification in 2015 and has not looked back. She’s always loved helping people and armed with her passion for all things health, movement and wellbeing, she traded in her corporate life for Lululemon tights returning back into her calling of health, movement and wellness through teaching Pilates.
Since then Terrenz has gone on to complete more Pilates certifications to further her knowledge, and has even worked in London where she helped to manage an intimate boutique West London studio with a fellow Aussie director and instructed Pilates there. Hearing how much she’s helped her clients in Sydney and London to date only motivates her further.
Terrenz joins the Bounce Back family in 2020 as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Pilates Instructor. With a thirst for endless learning to better her knowledge, she aims to further her personal and professional development through continual clinical education so that she can help people improve their movement, health and wellbeing as best as she can.
Outside of work, you’ll find Terrenz going on long walks with her two rescue dogs, being at one with nature and beautiful music, testing her hand in the kitchen with new recipes and bakes, sipping loads of coffee, calming down with yoga, and hanging with family and friends.
